THE FIFTH SCHOOL ON SYSTEM DESIGN USING MICROCONTROLLER
Duration: One Week from 26th December 2016

In the present time, all types of electronic pieces of
equipment are becoming smart & intelligent i.e. all of them do possess some
sort of inherent processing and storage capabilities. Smartness to these
devices is provided by embedding a device called Microcontrollers. At present,
there is a very high demand of embedded system designer. If the students at
their undergraduate level become familiar with these devices, there will be possibilities to produce better
embedded system designer in future. Participants from this workshop will be
encouraged to do their end semester project based on Microcontroller.
Objectives:
1. Familiarize with the working of microprocessor and
microcontroller.
2. Writing code for the microcontroller in C language.
3. Exposure to the concept of Embedded System.
4. Design and fabrication of signal conditioning circuits
for sensing physical parameters and data acquisition.
Target group:
The target group for the workshop will be the fifth
semester appeared students of TDC with major in Physics, Electronics and
Computer Science, end semester post graduate students and research scholars.
Workshop Coverage:
# Architecture of
Microprocessor & Microcontroller.
# Concept of Data
Acquisition System.
# Idea of Signal
Conditioning.
# Project work on
Microcontroller based Data Acquisition System.
Note: Lectures will be followed by hands on both analog
and digital electronics.
Registration Fee: 1,000.00 INR
The registration fee will be refunded to few participants
based on their performance during the school.
